This 1 day course (8 Hours) is appropriate for those working in Operational and/or Supervisory roles where they are required to Gas test the atmospheres (usually of confined spaces) and Operate breathing apparatus.

This course provides participant’s with the skills and knowledge required to Test the atmospheres of confined spaces whilst operating the required breathing apparatus, in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.

Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories, and Industry sectors.  

The course comprises multiple written theory assessments, followed by practical assessments. Participants need to have a strong command of the English language in order to complete the written assessment for these courses.

It is strongly recommended that prior to enrolling in this course, you take this Online Language, Literacy and Numeracy Indicator Test to evaluate your skills in:

• Numeracy.

These are the 5 core skills that make up the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF). These skills have been identified as the basic skills that a person needs in the community, classroom and workplace.

Enrolling for a course is made easy by our online enrolment system. Simply click on the Enrol Myself or Enrol Employees buttons to enrol in a course.

A completed booking form must be submitted to the RTO Administrator, along with payment in order to secure a seat at the nominated training course.
